Received Thursday, 11.40 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 18. A sentimental Basle postman ,vith an eye to national prestige ielivered to tlie local Red Cross a !etter with the address "St. Nichoias, Father Chri.stmas, Fairy.and, Switzerland," says Reuter's Basle correspondent. It came from ?ight-year-old Fay Johnson, of Sheffield. She wrote: "De'ar Santa Claus, , ?Iease can I have a doll's pram, and ilso a doll's blanket and pillow. Tor my brother a monoplane and motor-car, for mother something lice and for daddy a liice tie. I hope you can get these things." Fay printed all the requested Items in capitals. Snow-clad Fairyand yielded to Fay's plea, and a parcel containing the "Thines" she /anted will arrive in Sheffield on Ihristmas Eve. •
