DUNEDIN, Dee. 18. The Dunedin braneh of the Trannvays Fnion will hold a meeting loniorrovv to consider whether a stopvvork meeting of its menibers sliould be held on Friclay. If this action js taken it will mean that Ihe citv corporation transport services, trani, bus and cable car, will not operate 011 Friday. In a atatenient tonight, the president of the uni'on, Air. W. B. Riehards, sr-iid the position had arisen because of disaatisfaction among union memjiers over negotiations for a new award. Plans for ti new award liad been submifeted to the City Council about two uionths ago but adviee Rad been received from the council last night that it had deeided to
hold them in abeyance as a Dominion award was to be sought by both parties. "The union is not willing that the draft plans sliould stand aside unlil that position develops," Air. Rieliards added. "The executive will meet tomorrow afternoon to decide wliether a stopwork meeting of union members should be held on Friday, If this step is deeided upon it will mean that none of the buses, tranis or cable cars will operate,"
