Tt is believed tluit some of the further millions which Britain will spend on Geriuany's reliabilitation, will be earmarked for the pureliase of wool, says Ihe Yorkshire Fost's Bradford correspondent. It is not elcar exaetly how this is to be arranged but a substantial quantitv of wool from the Joint Organisation has already been supplied to Germanv as an outright purchase by the eontrol eommission for internal eonsuinption. It is hoped that „thp. surplus produC'tive eapaeity. whieh .wilf soon be availabie d'ill be.useA for eomlnng tops foivdsNport". This is good news beeause it means one of the«.tafgi est prewar wool eonsuniers in Europe will soon resume wool consumption on a substantial if not full seale. A survey party appointed by the International Wool weeretaviat, will leave Britain at the week-end for Karachi to aseortain how eneouTageinoiit can be given the loeal wool and mauufaeture side of the Indian wool industry.
