MAGIC OF VAN JOHNSON NAME
The magic of Van Johnson's name lingers in the little town of Santa Cruz, California. Van recently worked just outside Santa Cruz, on location for M.-G.-M. 's "The Romance of Rosy Ridge." The local ice cream shop continues to feature a Van Johnson sundae, and the barber offers a Johnson hsiircuv • But the local restaurant has placed under glass, a plate bearing the following inscription: "Van Johnson ate off this."
