A caucus of the Parliamentary Lab our Party will be held on Tuesday. Being the iirst caucus since Ihe elec tioii, considerable importance attaclies to tlie meeting, whicli may extend over several days. Tliere are' various mat: ■ters arising from the election that could be the subject of discussion,. sucli as the question of the new Speaker of the House of Representatives, the appointment of successors to the Minister oi Agriculture (Mr Roberta) 'and the Ifost-master-General (Mr Webb), who have retired from politics, and aTso the question of two other new appointmentl3 as a result of the defeat at the election of two of the Parliamentary under-seere-taries — Mr J. Thorn and Mr E. P. Meachen. . ^ ■
