WELLINGTON, Dec. 12. Situation: An anticyclone is in tlxe north-west Tasman Sea, while pressure is very low to the south of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. Friday: Fresh to strong westerly winds. Scattered showers still likely north of the Manawatu Gorge, but weather for the most part- fair. Temperatures cool. Further outlook: Similar conditions.
