♦ . SYDNEY, Dec. 11. Four huudred airmen and n.c.o. 's walked out of the messes of the R.A.A.F. station at Richmond today, as a protest against the quality of the food. The men deeided that. while they will attend every mess parade, they will not eat in their. messes until an improvenient is made in the quality o'f 'tlie ineals. A spokesman for. the men said: "We have been served with a mixture of bully beef, balted beans and dry bread for all ineals for weeks. We made many formal complaints but received no satisfaction.
