^ Received Tuesdav, 7.0 p.m. KtEW YORTv, Dec. 30. ATatson agents have announced that the reconvcrsion of the ATariposa ai'.d Lurliue would be completed by ATay 1947. They Avould enler the Pacific coast, Hawaii, New Zealand and Australian service. The liners would aceommodate 700 passengers instead of 550 before the war. The new aceorumodation would inelude the pullman type of convertible cabins which could be used in the daytime as sitting rooms. A sistership, tlie Monterey, was' now refitting but probably wouicl nol be ready until October 1947.
