DEMONSTRATION AT RICCARTON
For the second occasion this season Bridge Acre and he.r rider "C. T. Wilson were given a somewhat mixed demonstration at Biccarton on returning ;; to scale af^er winning the Fendalton Handicap, the boos outweighiug the cheers and claps. Oue misguided onlooker endeaypured to kick the mare as she was being led away to the. stalls at the rear of the sthnd, but instead connected with the iron tailing to lvis discpmforture. Yet another seemingly , became ■ conf used between Bridge Acre and Hormuz, for he piqde. .attempts to brmg liis boot into play as the;hcJrses were being led out of the birdcage, but it was Hormuz and not Bridge Acre that :his attentiou Was coneentrated on. ■ ■ : ■'[?'■»
