Personal v~ The friends ©f Mr. Bert Coulter will regret to learn that'he is confmed to his bed on accourif of illness. _ • •• • Miss Betty Stuart'^of Wellington, spent the weekend as the guest of. Mrs. J. A. Easton, Buckley. Jxist Enough Woolpacks ' The value of New Zealand Woolpack and Textiles' factory at Foxton was proven recently when a report received at the- monthly meeting of the New Zealand Wool Board indicated that there were just enough woolpacks on hand to handle this year's clip. Concern was expressed over the supplies of J ® goods for the 1947-48 season and the position is being watched carefully, but because of the uncertamfy of the position in India, no aennite assurance could be secured as to the quantities available ■ for next season. Had not the Foxton factory been operating, there would have been a grave shortage of woolpacks this season.
