Received Sundav, 7.80 p.m. LONDON, Dee. 8. National Hunt committee stewards called in 25 leading jumping race joclceys at Sandown Park vesterdai and warned them tliat a close wateh would lie kept on all steeplechasers arul hurdlers, says the Sundav Express. The stewards emphasised that the volume of betting at jumping meetings v\ras now bigger tlian ever before and tiie temptations to joekoys proportionatelv greatpr. The dfjve was • instituted t o clean up winter racing and exercise a tighter eontrol on irregular form- shown by in and out running.
