Oue company of Chinese soldiers and n number of coolies are reported killed by an explosion in an ammunition dump as tlie result of a coolie dropping a hand grenade. The dump contained 20,000 lons of American sliells andi Japanese bombs and mines. Tlie first blast rocked Shangliai and explosions continued all night, nearly causing a panic in Shangliai beeause it was rumoured that the eitv was underf Communist attack. j
