I Mr. and Mrs. Campbell spcnt a few ! days vislting Mr. and Mrs. Colin ' Campbell and Mr, Jim Campbell at ! Masterton, and later spent two or three days with Mr. CampbelTs parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Campbell, Vance Street. Terniis Teams ■ The following are the teams which will represent Shannon in the ipter-club match with Foxton to be played on the Shannon eourls tomorrow, commencing at 12.30 p'.m. Ladies; Miss K. Nepia, Mesdames S. L. Graham, L. Higgntt and Rasmussen. Men: Mfcssrs. K. Bait, K. Thomson. C. Booker and A. Peni. Members are requested to bring a l plate. I Pioneer Busman Returns Well-known visitors to Shannon last weekend were Mr. aud Mrs. Bill Cochrane and their daughtei', froro Otorohanga, Mr. Cochrane will be rememberpd as a pinneer of tlie taxi and passenger bus business in this town, having operated a service betwern Shannon and Mangahao during the construction of the Mangahao hydro-electric works. During their stay in Shannon Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane and Miss Cochrane were the gucsls of , Mr. and Mrs. J. Curran. Marching Display In order to lo&ter the sport of ; marching in Shannon, the Horo- ! whenua Marching Association will present a marching display by the K.B.H. and Caledoman girls' i marching teams on the iocal domain at 7 p.m. tomorrow evening. The Horowhenua Pipe Band will assist. The teams will foi'm up near the Bank of New Zealand at, about 6.45 p.m. and will march ' through the town to the domain, ; where arrangements have been. made for an individual display by1 each team and then a combined display and exercise by the two; teams and' the band. This is the' first appearance of girls' marching teams in Shannon, and a most enjoyable evening's entertainment is assured those who attend. A collection will be taken to cover the travelling expenses of the teams and the band. j
