CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 3. Signal Ohicer and Thornbridge, who ran iirst and second in the Metropoiitan Haudicap at Riccarton on Saturday. are booked to leave for Ellerslie next week. Both horses are engaged in the Auckland Cup, Signal Oiiicer having S.10 (includmg a 4ib. rehandicap)- and Thornbridge 7.6. The two-year-old Kartikeya probably will accompany Thornbridge on the trip north.
