RELIEF OF AIRMEN IN JAPAN
AUCKLAND, Dec. 4. The relief of airmen of No. 14 (Fighter) yquadron, Royal New Zealand Air ; Eorce, who liave been sarving in Japan ! siuce early this year as part of the Britisli Commonwealth Forces of Occupalioiq has already begun. Already two drafts, each of ten men, liave returned to New Zealand and tliree replacement ! drafts of 30 men in all, have left for Japan. The airmen for No. 14 yquadron are all volunteers as were those now being replaced. Lt is expected the original unit which went from Auck1 land to Japan in the light fleet carrier i H.Al.y. Glory, will have been fullv relieved by next March and that among Ihe last to bc repatriated will be the pilots who fly the squadrons of Corsair llghters. The transfer of squadron ineml bers is being done by air.
