LORD MONTGOMERY'S TOUR
Received Thursdav, 11.30 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 4. Lord Montgomery arrived at Udine today and was met by thcBritish oflicer commanding the Allied troops in the Venezia Giulia area, Lieut.-General Sir John Harding. All roads between Udine and Duino were blocked for an hour before Lord Montgomery 's arrival. A security request was made to correspondents not to speculate ax to whetlier Lord Montgomery 's visit to the Italian area would extend beyond Venezia Giulia or of its duration. Lord Montgomery is making a courtesy call on the United States 88tli Division, inspecting and addressing British | troops and c.onferring with officers. j
