" AUCKLAND, Dee. 4. The official count of votes polled in the Hamilton electorate was completed tonight when the Returning Officer, Mr H. B. Reid, announced the result as follows, the, ligures for the prov'isiona! count being shown in parentheses: — Mrs. G. H. Ross (N) 6752 (6113). •T. Granville (L) 6410 (5004). Majority for Mrs. Ross 333 f209). Mr. Reid stated that the ChieP Electoral Officer had advised that fur ther scrviee votes had still to arrivi from England and elsewhere.
