The death is announced from Wellington of Mr. E. W. HayMackenzie, aged 72, who was prominent in sport for more than half a century. j Mr. 3. A. Malcolm, accompanied : |by his wife, has arrived in Ottawa. iMr. Malcolm, who was in Melbourne : for 11 years as New .Zealand Supply Liaison Officer, has been appointed Trade Commissioner to Canada. He I ls a son of Mrs. M. E. Malcolm, of Queenwood Road, Levin.
