NTER-CLUB CROQUET
In the inter-club croquet match jkayed belween Shannon and Levin at Palmerston North last week, unsuitable weather conditions prevailed. The match was played in heavy wind and rain on a heavily Mooded green, The results were as follows, Shannon players being mentioned first: Mrs. J. T. Bovis 10, lost to Mrs. Frasor 26; Mrs. Roach 9, lost to Mrs. Mudgway 20. Doubles: Mesdumes Thomson and Bell 2, lost to" Mesdames Mason and Williams, was • ("illed off vdren the Shannon ladies were in the lead by 18 points to 16, i owing to the unplayable condition of the green.
