MASTERTON, Dec. 3. If restoration is definiteiy carried in Masterton the matter of representation at a meeting truly representative of the distriet will be arranged by its execu tive, was the decision reached by the Masterton Chamber of Commerce. The meeting agreed that it would not be oliicially represented at the meeting to be heid in Masterton tonight. "Everywhere I go the talk is restoration and not the election, " said Mr. Keinp, Mayor of Masterton. He added that h'e hoped the meeting in Masterton tonight would not be publie and that it would not pass resolutions which would hinder a later publie, meeting. No reply has been received by the Mayor of Masterton to the inquiry he addressed to the Mayor of Invercargill asking for particulars as to how the ^trust sys'tem of licensing cclntrol was working in that eity. Mr.. Keiup says it is more than likely that a representative delegation froin Masterton will visit Invercargill and obtain firsthand information as to the working of the trust system.
