MANAWATU EXECUTIVE MEETS IN LEVIN ■" The quarterly-/ meeting of the Manawatu p'rq'vincial • executivje of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers, held recently, was well attended. The guest speaker was Mrs. A. B. Smith, Domimon seereoary, who talked on the highlights 3i life at the Dominion headquarters, and the way in which branches could assist in reducing the amount of work there. At the eoncltusion of her address she was ; presented with a tbeautiful shoulder .-pray. When welcoming Mrs. Smith, the president, Mrs. R. Jenkins, assured her of the eontinued loyalty and support of the Manawatu province. The housekeeper-secretary, Mrs. Bariholomew, reported three 1 housekeeper engagements, after' which a short talk on "A needle — and The First Women to use it" was given by Mrs. Bennett, of , Manakau.
