CENTRAL PLAYS THIRD ROUND
At the Central Bowling Club's green the third round of the rinks competition was played and the results were as follows: — A grade: Martin, Blake, Sweetman, Bowater (s) beat Braid, Farton, Irving, Sharp (s) ; Hayes a bye. B grade: Langtry, Cormack, Hearle, S. Taylor (s) beat Dalzell, Capstick, Walker, A. Mudgway (s) ; Corson, Thomson, Broadbent, E. Lacey (s) beat Simmonds, Cooksiey, Hartstonge, Fletcher (s) . The fourth round will be played on Saturday, December 14. The members who will participate in the Quadrangular Shield, when Central plays Foxton next Saturday, are as follows: — At Foxton: Poad, Blake, Holdaway, Langelan (s); Parton, Irving, Bowater, Clark (s). At Central: Braid, H. ^Taylor, Sweetman, Sharp (s) ; Martin, Small, Hudson, Hayes (s) . Emergencies: C. Walker and F. Flercher.
