Mrs. Pandit said Mr. Xicholls liad referred sarcastically to Ilindu teniples and •Moslem mosques and had ma'de sneering and irrelavent references . fo the Indian language and Indians ; attempts to better themselves. "His cynical outburst was unworthy of a delegate to this world forum," she said. "Mr. Xieliolls knows that his contention that there is no legal colour bar in Bouth Africa, is a distortion and evasion of the true position. He wishes deliberately to be frivolous and ofi'ensive. Jesus Christ, Ilimself, if He were in our midst today, would be a prohibited immigrant to South Africa." Mrs. Pandit renewed her demand that United Kations intervene in the ques tion as to liow ISoutli Africa treats Indians.
