The death is announced from Toronto of Dr. L. V. Redman, aged 66. He was an internationally known plastics chemist. Members of the Levin-Waiopehu Tramping Club stood in silence at their monthly meeting on Tuesday night to pass a motion of sympathy with the club's vice-president, Mr. W. II. Ransom, in the bereavement he had suffered through the passing of his wife.
