WELLINGTON, Nov. 24. Tke KLng kasOjeen plcascl .lo approve tke appointment of Colonel B. S. Finn, C.B.E., D.S.O., Ed., as konorarv dental surgcon to kis Majesty. Colouei Einn is Direetor of Dental Serviees for tke Navv, Army and Air Force, an appointment ke keld tkrougkout tke rceent war. Tkis was announced at tke weekend by tke Minister of Defenee, Hon. F. Jones, wko said tke konour came as a fitting recognition to an ofiicer wko kad served in tke Armed Forces over a very long period. Colonel Finn saw service as a trooper witli- tke Australian Ligkt Horse Regiment in tke South Africau War. He was Deputy-Director of Dental Services, N.Z.E.F., in tke First World War and controlled all tke New Zealand dental services in Egypt, France and tke United Ivingdom. Earlier tkis year Colonel Finn was elected to konorary memberskip of tke Britisk Dental Association.
