Personal Mr. A. Bolton, of New Plymouth, who has been on a visit to Otaki, leaves for his home tomorrow. Richard, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Lea, left Auckland today en route' to England, where he has accepted a position. Plunket Shop Day Raises £58 As the result of a shop day for the Te Horo Plunket Society on Thursday the sum of £58 was raised. Bowling Tournament A bowling tournament will be held at Otaki Railway on Sunday, commencing at . 10.30 a.m. A. C. Mclntyre, partnered by Mick Symonds, will represent the Otaki Railway Club in the pairs games at the Dominion tournament. Band Shop Day The shop day held on Friday for the benefit of the Otaki Brass Band, a most deserving organisation, was most successful, and those responsible are to be congratulated on their splendid effort. It was gratifying to know that the general public had given liberally. Otaki Roll of Honour The Otaki branch of the R.S.A. is compiling a list of servicemen who paid the supreme sacrifice during the last war, with a view to having their names placed on the war memorial in Otaki. The association is anxious that none are missed, and relatives of the deceased are invited to inspect the roll at the Otaki Borough Council office.
