Received Saturday, 11 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 22. JJnjtgd States Army Headquarters in Frankfurt announced that the wreckage of the missing Dakota has been spotted twelve miies east oi Interlaken. Supplies have been Adropped and aeroplanes are circling' he area to mark the spot. A British Lancaster first sighted the Dakota at 12.20 p.m. todav. Orly Airfield has announced that all the passengers are alive. The plane was found 500 feet from the top of a 10,000-foot mountain. The weather is now good. United States officlals at Wiesbaden sald that the planes circling over the Dakota had seen four persons outside the Dakota. The others were presumably insi.de the plane, which is buried on the snow-covered mountainside. Teams have been sent out from Grindelwald, Bernese and Oberland to the wrecked plane. One of the three planes which reported spotting the Dakota was piioted by Brigadier-Genefal Snavely, whose wife was among the Dakota's passengers. "We are still alive but cannot hold out until tonight," was the message flashed out this morning on the crashed Dakota's faint radio. Hourly distress signals were received this morninp;. Planes equipped to drop paratroops, food, medicine and radio to the survivors, and ground rescue teams aegregating 3000 men, including alpine experts, were awaiting a more definite location of the wreck before striking out for the su rvivors .
