Projected building activity in Levin continues to be heavy. Dur- i ng October eight permits for new buildings, the value of whieh was i £8280, were issued by the Levin j Borough Council. Since April 1 last j 45 permits valued at £70,626 for new I private dwellings and four of a value of £2385 for other buildings had been issued.
