LONDOS WLL MEET MCCREADY, BUT—

-Press Association

By Telegraph-

WELLINGTON, Nov. 17. Jim Londos, world wrestling champiou, has accepted a match in New Zea land with Earl McCready for the title but on terms which are stiil not acceptable to Walter Miller who is endcavouring to promote the bout. The following cable was received on Saturday by Miller from Londos: "Accept McCready match December 14, eight 8-minute rounds. Title at staka. Can only be won by falls aud not by deeision, referee to be selected by mutual consent. I reserve picturo rights. Terms £5000 guarantee and £500 expenses, £2000 to be deposited immediately in New Zealand bank. Have bank wire me, balance to be paid to ine on iny arrival. If balance not paid on time match cancelled. Wire coniirmation. ' ' Replying to Londos, Miller expressed disgust at'the unreasonable demands and repeated his offer of a guarantee of £5000 for the match to the finish (two hours) with McCready, the £5000 to be deposited in the bank, Londos also to deposit £2000. A guarantee that the match will go through is also given by Miller who now awaits a reply to tliese conditions. Mr. Miller said today that Londos wanted everything and gave nothing in return, not even a guarantee that he would go through with the match after his arrival in New Zealand. His demands were unreasonable. Amplifying his terms for the match to a finish, Miller said he was prepared to concede McCready would have to win by two falls. If he failed to do so in a match-to-a-finish time limit of two hours, Londos would retain the title. ''I am not prepared, however, to give him £5000 t'or an eight-round 8-minute match. Sucli a bout would alford Londos the opportunity to spend most of his timo avoiding McCready in the ring as he has already indicated by avoiding him outside the ring," said Miller. "If Londos is really a eliampion he should accept my offer of a mateli to a finish, McCready to secure two falls or Londos is winner.".
