WANGANUI, Nov. 14. Serious burus were received by two spray painters today as the result of an explosion and fire in a furniture factory in St. Ilill Stveet. They are: — Charles Arthur Gedge and Archibald Orr. Botli men are married. Botli were "applving highlv inflam mable material in spray guns connected to an air container and fan, spraying it on to furniture. Botli rushed outside witli their elothes blazing. Gedge was seized bv a fellow em plove.e and rolled in pools of water Orr nianaged to beat the flames ouf himself. Botli men were admitted to hospital suffering from burns to the arms, body and head. The Fire Brigade arrived and quenched tlie fire.
