STEWARDS AND JUDGES A well-attended meeting of the committee of the Levin Horticultural Society was held recently, when arrangements for the show Son Tuesday next were finalised. With improved weather conditions !.x highly successful show is anticij pated. j -The following judges, with stew- ! ards, have been appointed to the ! various sections: — Roses: Mr. F. j Mason with Mrs. Burdekin and Miss j Blackburn; cut blooms: Mr. Evans ! with Mesdames Tabor .and Easton; l lative flora: a visiting botanist with Mrs. N. M. Thomson and Rev. H. S. Kings;. decorative: Mrs. McGilligan (Otaki) with Mrs. Smaill and Miss Wilson; fruit and vegetables: Mr. L. Lannie with Messrs. Youhg and Discher; sewing and handcraf ts : Mrs. Spencer with Miss Kilsby and Mrs. Tyrrell; woodIwork: Mr. H. Harvey, Junr., with j Mesdames Hocking and Mackay; - Krtwork: Messrs.
