DANNEVIRKE, Nov. 14. The Prime Minister had an audience of about 1000 last night in the • Dannevirke Town Hall during an address on similar lines to those he nas given elsewhere. Referring to Mr. K. J. Holyoake's claim in a national broadcast that he had been slandered, Mr. Fraser said Mr. Holyoake's accusation that a member of the Labour Governrnent had insuited the British flag v/as faise. At the conclusion of the meeting a motion of confidence in the Governrnent and in Mr. Fraser as -leaaer of the next Governrnent in New Zealand" was carried with acclamation. After moving a vote of thanks to the chairman, Mr. Fraser called for a show of hands by thcse who intended to yote for the Laboiir Party at the forthcoming election, to which about one-third of the audience responded.
