Bv Teleciravh—

VV'ELIANUTON, Nov. 1 1. The .Auckland Kugby 'L'niou is to be askeci for spocilic charges in connection with its expression of dispieasure over Ihe seleclion of tlie All Black side against Austraiia, the manner of its assenibly, iaek of opportunity for training, and the eondition of jerseys and gear. This deeision was reaehed by the niauagement comniittee of the Neu Zea land Kugbv Union todav after consideration of a Jetter setting out a resolu tion carritid by the Auckland Union which also asked that the inatter be in vestigaled, to .ensure that there would be no such repetitiou in future. "Without specilic charges we cannot reply," said the chairman, Alr. S. S. " Dean. " Some complaints eould be laid directly against the Auckland Union in its handling of arrangeinents. So far as the jerseys wero eoncterned, tliey were hrand new for the first test. AL. L. Caroline inquired if the inanagers niade any coinment on tliese matters in their voports from a newspaper report of the Auckland Union 's discus sion, he said there had been reference to second class accoimuodation. That was in the haiuls of the Auckland Union. Mr. A. McDonald said he had made no reference to mat ters raised by Auckland in his report. He considered such publicity did no good but sinee ihe New Zealand Union li'atl lieen attacked, it was now essential to take a staiul. "I will say tlie treatment we received iu Auckland was tlie worst I have known, ' ' said Mr. McDonald. Ile did not see the Auckland manager till just on middav on the Saturday of the mateh. • But for a newspaper report tliey would have known nothing about entertainnient for the players. The greatest difficultv had been ex]ierienced in arranging for praetiee. Criticism of the Auckland Union 's arrangeinents for reeeiving the team aud transporting them to their hotel, was also made by Mr. McDonald who added that" the gear was in quite good order. "We should hav-e these matters dealt with in your report," said Mr. Carmine. It was agreed this, course was neceSsary. i
