Pluns have been made for the Auckland three-year-old .Regal Praise to contest the New Zealand Derby Stakes and the New Zealand Oaks at the (J.J.C. lnoeting this month. Regal Praise has proved lierself the best iilly of her age in the north and has given every indieatioii-. that she will stay. She is by Nightniareh from Praise, an Oaks winner and the dam of Serenata, Representatiye and Eussian Ballet. This season Regal Praise Iinished second to Xlajestv'in the Great Northern Guineas and rau a dead-heat with Saft'ron Walden over a mile in the Liverpool Handieap on the second day of the Auckland meeting last month.
