WELLINGTON, Nov. 11. Two wives and a motlier-in-law 111 New Zealand have claimed as their own "Gunner Chrisp", the New Zealand soldler who was founci wandering at Enftdaville, Tunisia. and whose identity has since reniained a mystery. Investigations proved their claims to kinship to be gronndless. Meanwhile a mounting tile at the New Zealand police headquarters, ts a long way from being ciosed. This week a watch will be sent to England in an endeavour to link up events. It was found in the possession of a German prisoner who was sittirag within a foot of Giuiner Chrisp in the casualty clearing station. Tne significance of the watch is that :t has scratehed on it the initials, "W.A." These are identical with the signature, O Anon-W.A. ' ' which was in a notehook kept by the still unknown soldier.
