WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. As the result of the reeent appeal, the building of an ArigJican Cathedral in Wellington at th'e first available opportunity, wus now definitely assured, said the Mavor, Mr. Appleton, and ■ Vicar General of the Wellington Dio*ese, Archdeacon F. W. Petrie, in a statement today. It was hoped to lay the t'oundation stone in 1951 and it was expected that the Cathedral i'und would then stand at about £285,000.
