AUCKLAND, Nov. 7. Scouts from all over the world wil! come to the 'Dominion in 1949 when aceording fo present plans, the world Heout jamboree will !)e lield in Auckland, probably in the holiday summei season of that year. Australia has al ready indicated that 1000 Common weal'th Scouts will attend and otliers will come from America, Great Britaiu and other European countries, the Paeific Islands and the West Indies. Subject to tlie approval of . the Scout Dominion headquarters the formei American military eainp near Papatoe toe, 10 miles south of Auckland, which could aceonimodate 10,000, may be used to house tlie visiting contingents. > No deflnite date has been fixed, but it is expected that the jamboree will con tinue 10 to 14-days. The first postwar jamboree will be hehl in France next year. Tt was pro posed tliat the Neiv Zealand contin gent be 500, but in view of the ship ping facilities it is probable that onl\ about 100 will go. Seven Auckland Scouts have al ready intimated their wish to attend the iamboree in France
