WELLINGTON, Nov. 8. Situation: An intense anticyelone is near Tasmania and a deep depression is south-east of Ne\V Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. Saturday: Moderate westerly to south-wester-ly winds, freshening in the afternoon. A few scattered showers, chiefly about the high country, but weather otherwise fair. Temperatures cool, with some frosts. Further outlook: JVIainly fair.
