The .Tockey Club has passed a resolu-! tion refusing to recognise the Gernian Stiul Book register of horses the United States Army purcliased or requisitionod in Germany, many of which were brought to Ameriea. SiR'h registration had been requested by tlie Army authorities but tlie club refused "in order to protect. the American thoronghbred, " pointing out, firstly, that identification of these horses was dependenl on the words of the enemy, and secondly, control of certuin Gennun Slud Book records had been taken from those in Germany with wbom the club dealt before the war and was assumed by the German Government.
