By Telegraph-
AUUlvL,AxNL», JS 0 V. 6. "It seems to me utterly wrong that people should be denied healthy sport on the one day when the majority of people cau take part in it, " said Mr. M. G. Lee when the question of grauting pcrmission to allow .Sun day play on a school tennis .court came befcre the Auckland Education Board. Three members pointcclout that members of the community often helped in making such as swimming baths and tennis eourts at schools and it seemed unfair that they were not allowed some use of them in return. Before the board could take any action in the matter, a motion woufd have to be brought up and passed in the usual way, explained the actingchainnan, Mr. A. Burns. Mr. Lee promised to give notice in writiug so that the matter would come up and be discussed fully at the next meeting of the board.
