The superin'tendent of the brigad'e, Mr. *W. S. Salmons, said last night that he took a very serioits view 'of the ac'ioh 'of the persons responsible for the falSfe alarm, and legal proceedings would be taken against any person found tamp'ering with the eqiipment.
