SEASON'S FINAL EYENING. The Levin Music* Club -recently held t its final eyening for the ; seasoh in' St.- Andrew's Hall.- The. president, Mrs. Bowers," welcomed i members and guests. The musical'; programme, which was annopnced •, by Mrs. F. G. Thompson, was/then presented. . . At the conclusion'of the programme, Mrs. Bowers thanked ' all those . who had contributed to its ' success, particularly Miss R. Mills, of Otaki, for her very enjoyableelocutionary items. Mrs. Bowers chen referred to the'departure from Levin of Mrs'. Thompson, and presented her with a small gift from the members, wishing her every happiness in her new horne in Pahiatua. The hostesses for the evening, Mrs. Wiseley, -Miss V. Aim and Miss Evison, then served supper. A silver coin collection resulted in a. very satisfactory donation, which was handed to the Crippled Children's Society. : The -following was the pro-'i gramme presented: "Sonata E Flat Major" (Mozart), Miss J. Davie; "Home Song" (Liddell) and "Clear Blue Eyes" (Scott) , Mrs. C. E.. Wiseley; "The Highwayman" (Noyes) and "On the Fringes of Sleep" (D. H. Lea) , Miss R. Mills; "Sonata in C Minor" (Beethoven), Miss M. Gardiner; . "Alice ' Blu& Gown" and "Brown Bird Singing"; (Haydn Wood), Mrs. Boland; "Who: is Sylvia (Schubert) and "Caro Mio Ben" (Giordani), Mrs. M. R. Smith; "Whims" (Schuman), Miss A. Aim; "The Silly Little Woman Records her Vote" and "Mother-in-law's Speech," Miss R. Mills; "Whqn All was Young" and "Little Boy. Blue" (Nevin), Mrs. Taylor; "Spanish Dance,". (Moszkowski) , duet, Misses J. Davie and V. Aim. A reading was given by Mrs. Thompson on the universal appeal of music.
