Big Supplementary Roll vAIready the supplementary roll for the Otaki electorate has 2000 names on it, advised the registrar (Mr. H. J. Henderson) this morning. It is expected that the roll will elose at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, by when the number ' on it will have still further increased. The geneflal roll closed with 12,574 names. To See Watersiders Work Members of the Auslralian Stevedoring Industry Commission, under their chairman, Mr. D. V. Morrison, and accompanied by staiT ofhcials will shortly arrive at Auckland from Sydney to begin a survey of waterfront conditions in the Dominion. The Commission will investigate the workings of its New Zealand equivalent, the Waterfront Industry Commission, during its visit. Borough Bus Service The problem of transport to town for residents on the outskirts of the borough and adjoining county areas for shopping and entertainment have frequently jraised the question of the possibilj ity of a bus service.
