A.malgamat.ed Wireless Australasia Liniited has secured a contraet for sjxteeu broadcasting stations in New 5?ea!and, accord-ing to an announceru.ent by Mr. CJhiffey today. One of the stations will jbe of 60 kilowatt capacity, abpijt six times the size of any of th,e medium wave broadcasting .stations in Australia. Mr. Chiffey said he had asked the Ministers to en,sure that Amalganiated Wireless was given the most Sympathetie tre.atment possible in the work reffuired by the Government Departments.
