SHANNON SCHOOL COMMITTEE

OCTOBER MEETING Those present at the October meeting of the Shannon School Committee, held recently, were Messrs. A. E, Jeffrey (chairman) , L. • W. Bowler (secretary) , E. Barber, S. Free, F. Bradey and Mrs. C. Stern. It was decided to make provision for an additional tennis court for the pupils by marking out an area between the school building and the dental clinic. The secretary reported that* he had received donations from two business men towards the school's general sports fund. Their gesture was very much appreciated. Following a discussion it was proposed that the grass playing area should be topdressed right away. The headmaster (Mr. W.
