WELLINGTON, Oct. 30. A further 230,606 butter and meat coupons were contributed to the New Zealand Famine Emergeney Oommittee's Food for Britain campaign last Aveek, bringing the total for 20 wceks to more tlian 5,560,000 coupons. For the second suceessive week Gis borne lield first place on a population basis, its contrilnition being at the rate of more than 51 coupons for eacli household in the district. Gisborne also gave the liighest contribution for the Dominion. Blenheim was sec-ond and Timaru third. A feature of this week's eampaign was the successful fat and coupons drivc in Ghristchurcli, lield in the form of a treasure hunt in which nearlv 2000 children participated. It vielded 11 tons of fat and 35,270 coupons. The wiuner was a nine-vear-old bov who eolleeted 4Hlbs of fat, 1636 meat and 628 butter coupons.
