Bumiuer period: Eeptember to January inclusive, 12.75d per gallon. Autunni period: Fcbruary to April inclusive, 15d per gallon. Winter period: May to August inclusive, 20.3Gd per gallon. All prices are at fann gate. In addition, the summer price of 12.75(1 a gallon will be paid cluriug this period on all production surplus to town requirements, up to an average of 17 per cent. For the autumn period, a price of 15d a gallon will be paid for surplus production up to 10 per cent. monthly. During the winter period surplus, production will be paid for on the basis i of 10 per cent. monthly, at the average annual price of 15. (33d a gallon. On the above scheilule of prices, producer organisations operating under the national milk scheme and producing up to 17 per cent,. surplus milk during the summer period; up to 10 per cent. monthly during the autumn period, and the fulfilment of aetual town requirements during the winter period, will receive an average price of 15.03d for everv gallon proiluced within this formula. Organisations of town milk produeers are now invited to lodge witli the Milk Marketing Divisioji, application for partic-ipation in tiie 1940-47 national milk scheme in tne same manner as operated for the past i seaso».
