Considerable preparations for the fixture have been made, and the elub anticipates a record meeting. All the buildings have been paijited and present a smart appearance, while a great deaj of attention has been given -to che track, ■ which" is now in firat class order. Nominations for the meeting close on Tuesday next, October 29, at 8 p.m. Weights will be declared on or about November 1, a nn acceptances_qlose at 8 p.m. on Monday, November 4. The programme, which will commence at 11.30 a.m., is as follows:— Highweight Handieap, of .£250; about one mile and a-quarter. Winner to receive £185, second hor.se £20 and third horse £20. Minimum weight, 9 stone.Maiden Race, of £200; six furlongs. Winner to receive £150, second horse £35 and third horse £15. For three and four-year-olds only which have not at any time prior to time of startihg won an advertised flat race. Weight, three-year-olds, 8st., four-year-olds, 8st. 51bs, Weraroa Hack Handieap, of £300 ; seven furlongs. Winner to receive £225, second horse £50 and third horse £25. Minimum weight, 8 stone. Levin Handieap (open), of £800; about one mile and a-quarter. Winner to receive £580, second horse £150 and third horse £70. Minimum weight, 7 stone. Mako Mako Hack Handieap, of £300; six . furlongs. Winner to receive £225, second horse £50 and third horse £25. Minimum weight, 7st. 71bs. Champion Hack Handieap, of £400; about one mile and a-quarter. Winner to receive £290, second horse £75 and third horse £3-5. Minimum weight, 7st. 71bs.
