LADIES' GOLF
OTAKI CLUB'S CLOSING The Otaki Ladies' Golf Club held its closing day on Wednesday last in the form of a hole medal, foliowed by the presentation of trophies. The t'rophies were won as follows: — President's trophy, Mrs. Rzoska; captain's trophy, Miss Henshaw; Mrs. Harper's trophy, Mrs. Sutherland; two round eclectic, Mrs. Simcox's trophy, most reduced handicap, Miss Lea and Miss Higginson (equal); senior eclectic, Mrs. Bradford; junior and one bogey, Mrs. Rzoska; three bogeys, Mrs. Bradford; one bogey medal, Mrs. Morton; sealed holes and one medal, Miss Lea; one bogey and] two medals, Miss Higginson; one j medal, Mrs. Derham; one bogey' and one medal, Mrs. Simcox; one i medal, Mrs. Winterburn; two] medals, Miss Henshaw; three medals, Mrs. Sutherland. j The election of officers resulted as 1 follows: — President: Mrs. Morton; ] captain: Mrs. Simcox; vice-cap-tain: Mrs. Lea; committee: Mes- i dames Rzoska, Clarke and Winter-! burn;' hon. secretary: Miss Lea. A vote of thanks to the retiring president," Mrs. Wilson, was proposed and carried with acclamation, and also to Mrs. Rzoska for her good work during the year.
