SAVOURY CRESCENTS ANOTHER GOOD RECIPE FROM MISS UNA CARTER The following ingredients are necessary: 4 oz. Fether-Flake Puff Pastry. (You buy it ready mixed then JUST ROLL AND BAKE) . About l-£ oz. tasty cheese grated. Small £-teaspoon curry powder. Salt, pepper and Cayenne if possible. Rolled oats. .Beaten egg. Mix cheese, curry powder and seasoning well together. Roll Fether-Flake out thin, sprinkle with cheese, fold in four. Roll out, using rolled oats on the board instead of flour. Fold in three and roll ' out again, quite thin. Brush top over with beaten egg. Sprinkle on just a little extra salt. Cut into crescents. Bake on cold trays in a fairly quick oven till pale golden brown and crisp throughout. Fether-Flake is freshly made by Adams Bruce only and sold straignt from the refrigerator. Allow Fether-Flake to stand a while before using.
